Bryngwyn Participates in the Carmarthenshire Girls Football Tournament

Girls from across Carmarthenshire turned Parc Y Scarlets into a football haven on 29th Nov. Over 150 girls from 10 schools played for the right to represent Carmarthenshire in the next round of the Swansea City FC Cup.

In the U14 category, Bryngwyn were represented by two outstanding teams. The A team managed to field off strong competition in all of the qualifying rounds. In the final, it was a head to head with rivals from Amman Valley School. At full time, it was a nil-nil draw, so the game went on into extra time. There was nothing in it between both teams, and the final whistle blew, meaning that the two teams will now go through to represent the county.

A team players: Candy Davies, Niamh Rees, Alex Calender, Megan Mudaley, Molly North, Ffion Phillips, Ina Martin, Alisha Maides.

A big congratulations to all girls who took part. Da iawn!
